I have never been to New Orleans and have always wanted to experience the culture and of course, now that I’m older and actually able, experience the bar scene. I can see myself living here just because the plantation homes are beautiful. I’ve always dreamed of living in one. Well, of course I wouldn’t be able to live in one, but just being able to look at them would be enough for now! Of course I’ll have to try out the food to get a feel for the culture there, and get a vibe for the people around. I’ll of course hit up Bourbon street the first night I’m there.

The next day I’ll probably tour the French quarter and take in some of the history, tour the plantation homes and dream about living in one, and probably gamble some of my spending money away in the casinos. Don’t get me wrong though, I hate taking risks with money because I’m pretty stingy about my ROI when it comes to my own money.
The first picture in NY with the dog is pretty sweet. I am going to New York too so I liked that. Your blog is pretty flashy and I think makes the audience feel connected.
ReplyDeleteI think you picked really good pictures for this post. All of the colors draw in the viewer and they depict what people think of when they think New Orleans.
ReplyDeleteI really like the places where you are going. It would be so much fun. But I feel like you need a lot more money that what you have budgeted if you decided to go to all these "entertainment" places, especially New York.
ReplyDeleteYour dog is precious! I think it's really nice that you were concerned about leaving her at home by herself. However, you may have to be making more roadside stops since she will be joining you! haha. sounds like a fun trip and New York for New Years is something that everyone should experience sometime!
ReplyDeleteI love that your taking your dog, she's so cute! It's also great how detailed your trip is, especially how you already planned out housing for Charlee when she can't stay in the hotel with you! Good job!
ReplyDeleteI like the road trip you are about to take and experiencing things by yourself. Traveling without family would be a interesting experience.
